Is proof infrastructure the same as fact-checking?
No. Fact-checking publishes an organization's judgment that you are asked to trust. Proof infrastructure makes the underlying claim and its evidence independently verifiable, and settles disputes through stake-backed juror voting with a recorded outcome and dissent.
Why not just use a deepfake detector?
Detectors output a probability that degrades as generation models improve, and the receiver still has to trust the detector. Provenance records where an artifact came from and how it changed, and stays verifiable regardless of how good generation becomes. Noesea prioritizes provenance over detection.
