Evidence integrity that survives the platform

Legal evidence often lives inside a single tool or inbox, where it can be edited, lost, or rendered unverifiable once exported. Anchoring the hash and custody chain makes the record independently checkable later, by a counterparty or a court, regardless of where the original was stored.

Chain of custody

Every handoff is recorded as a signed custody event. When evidence integrity is questioned, the custody record shows who held an artifact and when — turning 'trust us, it wasn't altered' into a verifiable timeline.

Portable verification reports

Noesea produces exportable reports showing the hash, timestamp, custody path and verification instructions. Opposing counsel, a regulator or a judge can confirm the record without access to your systems and without trusting your assertion.

Common questions about legal evidence verification

Is a Noesea record admissible as evidence?

Admissibility is a matter for the relevant court and counsel. What Noesea provides is verifiable evidence integrity — anchored hashes, custody records and portable reports — that supports authentication and chain-of-custody arguments. It is not legal advice.

Does sensitive evidence get exposed?

No. Only hashes, Merkle roots and custody metadata are anchored. The underlying documents stay in your control in content-addressed storage; Merkle proofs let you verify one item without disclosing the rest.

Can the other side verify without our systems?

Yes — that is the point. Verification is hash- and proof-based, so a counterparty recomputes the hash and checks it against the public anchor independently.
